Nová myšlienka v súvislosti s vyhnutím sa laboratórnej detekcii.

Nedávno mi niekto poslal súkromnú správu, v ktorej sa ma pýtal na spôsoby, ako odstrániť nevyhnutné zápachy spojené s tajnými chemickými laboratóriami. Ako vie každý, kto má skúsenosti, zápachy vznikajúce počas chemických reakcií môžu byť v rozmedzí od charakteristických až po úplne eutanázické. Prešiel som zoznamom bežných metód, ako je stará hadica v záchode, zostava s vodnou clonou, vypúšťanie výparov z komína na zahmlenie pôvodu atď. a potom som otvoril o potenciálnej účinnosti nového nápadu, ktorý som nikdy nevidel v praxi. Nuž a hľa, na sociálnej sieti sa mi na obrazovke Amazonu objavil produkt, ktorý som nikdy predtým nevidel, a tu je na zváženie. Keramický katalytický spaľovač. Je určený pre kachle na drevo a na ohrev katalyzátora využíva teplo, ktoré produkuje, ale myslím si, že by veľmi dobre fungoval aj 6" horák pripevnený na prednej strane kachlí. Verím, že s týmto vo vašom výstupnom potrubí (a prvkom horáka) by sa opekal takmer akýkoľvek zápach a katalyzátor, horák a reostat na reguláciu teploty by mali byť pod 200 USD úplne nové ( a horák a gombík sporáka by mohli byť pre mnohých z nás zadarmo). Len som si myslel, že predstavím túto myšlienku a otvorím dialóg, aby sme diskutovali o potenciáli.

Určite filter s aktívnym uhlím? ako na pestovanie buriny/ to je to, čo iv videl fungovať... pred mojimi očami doma f/e. Pravdepodobne ahotty, ale hej ho, ja nič necítim a iv nemal žiadne zmienky od mojich susedov! Ani keď som pestoval trávu, ani keď som robil syntézy lol

Je to síce super, ale tiež určite, museli by byť reakcie teplé, aby sa aktivovali? Robím veľa ľadových reakcií na mo....fungovalo by to na to? Alebo myslíte zahrievanie?

Áno, museli by ste ho zohrievať samostatne. Myslím, že som myslel, že by mohol fungovať horák na sporáku na tvári

Ach áno, chápem, ospravedlňujem sa. Moja chyba. Celkom v pohode.
Nie je to však v podstate rovnaký spôsob, akým fungujú filtre s aktívnym uhlím? Predpokladám, že tvar otvorov zachytáva pachy? V každom prípade je to super.
Myslím, že pri filtroch s dreveným uhlím, ak to niekto vidí, to môže byť naozaj len podozrivé, tak či onak (predpokladám, že pokiaľ nežijete v krajine, kde je povolené pestovať vlastnú trávu (kde by nikto nevedel, čo je uvedená položka!)

No. -ctuivated carbon filters work on the principle that carbon has a lot of surface are to trap bad smells, but it wont stop vapors from poisoning you. This is a catalytic converter like your car has, it uses high heat to break down gaseous acids bases irritants ect, and as a side note it eliminates odors by exposing them to high heat. Id be surprised if a carbon filter would sustain being gassed by hcl for very long

I live where it is legal, and people still use the carbon filters, so their house doesn't smell like weed, so WVERYONE doesn't know they are growing, that can also invite problems , and we had someone stay with us during harvest one time and she left because there was a lot of weed drying everywhere in the house

Activate charcoal (absorb pollution and fumes)

Avoid acquaintances and strangers from having any sort of information knowledge of such a clandestine lab

Do not have your laboratory supplies nor lab chemicals no drugs shipped via parcel mail to the same address that you do your lab cooking

Night time

Invest in a fume hood

Don't have a reason for law enforcement to be knocking on the door of the place where you have your laboratory

I'm sure it would work if you can get the cats up to temperature. That's the whole trick, in your car the exhaust heats it up to a pretty high temperature. I've heard of people smashing the catalyst and using it in reaction, platinum and pallidium.

Yeah ive used them as is with some vapour phase stuff works great just use a heating strip to get it up 2 temp

We are basically just leading our fumes into a DIY furnace chimney here, no? One could easily set up a succession of various traps to lead and scrub fumes through. Down the drain. Buckets of kitty litter. Other tubes of filter charcoal and what not. High temp is a less popular choice (and one of the better options if you can do it, I think) It would be best to destroy as much 'evidence' as possible on the way out before you try to clean and obscure it before it is dispersed back into the world.

couldnt you also lead the gases into the air intake of a bunsen? Should also work obviously smaller scale though

This is the right idea. IDK if a bunsen would burn hot enough? You want those ridiculously high industrial temps.

You arent gonna get much hotter with this thingy because you're going to have to heat it separately.........probably with a bunsen....

Also look up the temp of a gas flame it is definitely higher than the decomp temp of all possible products in any synthesis really.

I'd say its more about contacting the most surface area, a flame wouldn't be that efficient, but if you had some sort of hot metal screen to blow the air through, ike a catalytic converter has...Setting up to run it down your drain pipe, pushed past the water trap has been the popular way since the 80's. I've known people who go to a hotel and make meth at at the hotel, usinf this method and in thier mind it's safer because thety aren't at home, . I can see benefits of it, but Depending on your situation it may not be any safer. I've caught people cooking meth in a hotel before. People I didn't know. They were lucky it was me who caught them because I acted like I didn't see or smell anything someone else might have turned them in. Matter of fact, its a local hotel and it has been modified to have a secret room where they make meth steadily
