Hai ragione. È possibile aggiungere anidride acetica tra 5-6 passaggi per acetilare la morfina. Regolare il pH a ~3 e, dopo un'ora di agitazione, neutralizzare a pH ~5,5-6 con bicarbonato di sodio.

Bello! Quanti papaveri hai usato?

C'è un documento in cui viene documentato e spiegato molto bene il processo di isolamento della morfina dall'oppio grezzo (e anche l'ulteriore lavorazione e raffinazione per ottenere percentuali piuttosto alte di eroina) come viene fatto dai coltivatori di papavero afghani.
Non l'ho ancora provato personalmente, ma lo farò sicuramente nelle prossime settimane. Forse qualcun altro può intervenire per dire se e come sia possibile ridurre la tecnica di estrazione per adattarla a un piccolo raccolto di oppio da una coltivazione domestica o simili.

Personalmente sarei molto interessato a vedere questa versione. Questo risolverebbe MOLTI problemi per me. Sembra e sembra fantastico @Zippy53! Posso chiederti se hai supervisionato personalmente la coltivazione o come ci si può procurare le materie prime? Vivo in un clima settentrionale, in particolare vicino a Boston - non credo che queste piante possano essere coltivate all'aperto durante la stagione? Ho una o due luci LED per la coltivazione della marijuana, non dovrebbe essere un problema avere uno o due papaveri nell'armadio? Quanto tempo ci vuole dalla germinazione al raccolto? C'è un venditore di semi affidabile in zona? Probabilmente posso trovare informazioni sulla coltivazione su erowid, se non qui...

To answer some my own naive questions. Poppies grow just fine in northern climates, some even prefer. Seeds which can be acquired in abundance, grocery store variety are active but weak, better strains can be found online, can be cast effortlessly and without much care onto loose soil almost anywhere during autumn or early spring and these things will grow. Indoors works but outdoor is better - you need alot more than 1 or 2. It only takes 2-3 months from start to finish. If sewn in autumn, they hibernate of course.

on top of that morphine can be purified by sublimation at 190°C lol
