Here's a suggestion:

once an order is completed, instead of waiting for some predefined period of time, the buyer could request the order to be purged from the books. This would waive any possibility to leave a review or open a dispute, but that's ok for satisfied buyers who just don't want to leave their address on the server for weeks or months before it's deleted automatically.

Alternatively, instead of deleting the order completely, it should be sanitized and the address should be purged upon buyer's request. Encrypted or not, there isn't any value in leaving the address on the server after the order is closed, at least in my point of view.

Otherwise great job, Bazaar looks really good. Hope the security (auto-removal of orders, etc) is as promised.

In the next couple of days, I’ll add automatic deletion of shipping addresses and deaddrops immediately after the order is closed.

User security is our main priority. Of course, you need to delete all data after making an order, despite the fact that all data is encrypted and even the seizure of servers will not give LE any information.

Ironically, yesterday I was oblivious to the situation affecting both sites and I attempted to add BTC to my bazaar wallet. Well the transactions were confirmed but no funds appeared in my wallet. Could this be an issue with the situation yesterday. Who do I contact to look into this? Thanks for the info, bazaar doesn't have much of a faqs section for this type of situation.

I'm wrong, it did take them a while to post but the site credited three into a single btc deposit. My mistake, apologies. You really have to get out a calc to sum btc amounts.

No, there are some issues with wallet ID's on Bazaar.
When you click the button to deposit btc onto your Bazaar wallet, it generates you a temporary wallet id to send your btc to. Today, I sent a few deposits in and before the last one the button began generating a different wallet ID than the ones earlier. When I sent funds to this they never made it to my wallet. I can check them and it shows they landed on that wallet ID and that they are the only funds on it, but those were never added to what I had left prior to depositing.
I've reached out to service but haven't heard anything.
I'd advise being very careful about depositing funds and not doing it again after they change your wallet ID address.

the address should change every time you use it. Its a 1-time address. It will stay the same for months but as soon as you use it it generates a nre one. Be sure to redfresh the page if the wallet address doesn't change

I don't know, I just know that I did 3 transaction earlier that day and it was all to the same wallet address. Once it changed I stopped receiving anything I deposited. I'm not sure what's happening but I've reached out to service and am still awaiting a reply but at this point i'm pretty hesitant about depositing funds in the future.

It’s impossible for funds to stop arriving in your account, even after changing the address. Wait for a response from the support team. Prepare the transaction ID, and they will definitely look into your issue.

The support service worked with you and explained everything to you.
You sent a withdrawal transaction to a third-party wallet that does not belong to Bazaar.
How can we help you get your funds back if they were sent to a third-party wallet?

Well yeah you're right, they did work with me but explained everything to me? After reading your post I really have
to wonder if the support team actually understood the situation.

A deposit of about 1500 dollar was made to the vendor account but we made a mistake and used an old BTC adress after it had already changed so yeah our fault and stupid BUT - this deposit never even made it to our account, at least it was never accessible and no withdrawal transaction was ever requested from our account, that is not true.

When I contacted support the funds were all on the wallet with the old deposit adress - after about a week or so and the support team basically saying there is nothing they can do the funds were transfered from that wallet to a crypto exchange (ff.io) but that transaction was not made from our side and we could not have done it since as I said the funds were never in our account in the first place....

Is there a new Bazaar .onion domain? The one I have bookmarked is saying the site is offline.
Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere.

I've been able to get on using bazaar.ink but I can't find where that link came from, but it works.

at the top left of the screen the top item is "Bazaar marketplace link" that's probably where you got it. I don't know of a new onion site for Bazaar yet, but just encrypt all of your messages and it shouldn't be an issue
