Obtenção de ópio a partir de toda a planta papoula!

Olá a todos, tenho 50 papoulas que estão crescendo e já floresceram. Eu estava interessado em extrair o ópio de toda a planta, porque arrancar a vagem da papoula me parece um desperdício de papoula, pois a planta inteira contém alcalóides.

Mas não tenho certeza de como fazer isso. Devo arrancá-la do chão, lavá-la e depois fervê-la em água, filtrá-la e depois evaporar a água?

Ou qual seria o melhor procedimento?

Não é um desperdício de forma alguma se você quiser 2 vezes o seu rendimento ou mais, já que a papoula, quando devidamente cortada, continuará a exsudar o látex que você procura e continuará a produzir mais, o que não aconteceria apenas cortando-a. Ainda assim, funcionará colocando-a em uma panela com água e filtrando-a levemente em fogo brando, mas eu gosto de separar os talos das vagens, ferver e reduzir, como você estava dizendo.

É assim que se faz - extrai-se a planta inteira. Colher, secar até o osso e moer o mais fino possível. O álcool (qualquer um) é o solvente preferido; a água não é boa de jeito nenhum.

Por que não água? Poderia explicar melhor o método? Devo colher as plantas quando estão secas, pois geralmente as colho quando estão no pico da maturidade, quando têm mais ópio e ainda estão verdes?

Desde que tenha passado de 5 a 7 dias após a queda de todas as pétalas, você deve obter um bom rendimento fervendo com água, mas não ultrapasse 80 °C (acho que 45 °C é melhor), pois a temperatura pode começar a quebrar a morfina. Você definitivamente deve raspar ou marcar uma e ver se ela começa a exsudar bondade...

Morphine is more readily soluable in ether or chloroform rather than water, because it is basic in its natural form. We must use an acidic solution to get it to convert into water soluable salt. It said it can be isolated with the precise pH, That and I guess you have to salt twice if you want it super clean, since it starts as base.

I have heard that slicing the pods does indeed provide more latex material. However, overall the same amount of alkaloids are generally there. In other words, the latex has a diminishing quality/return - it turns into water weight?. Harvest all at once when dry, less effort. You might need some latex to get to work though, whatever is clever.
