I've known many using BDO for over 25 years now. Once in a while they had some GHB or GBL, but minimum 99% of their usage has been with BDO. I haven't noticed any serious physical effects but I'm sure it has some residual reactants within it since I've seen 98% BDO often. But, to answer your question, drinking BDO converts to GHB in your liver. You'll need a 3-5 cc syringe to dose.
