Μια νέα ιδέα όσον αφορά την αποφυγή της εργαστηριακής ανίχνευσης.

Κάποιος μου έστειλε ιδιωτικό μήνυμα τις προάλλες ρωτώντας με για τους τρόπους εξάλειψης των αναπόφευκτων οσμών που σχετίζονται με τα παράνομα χημικά εργαστήρια. Όπως γνωρίζει όποιος έχει εμπειρία, οι μυρωδιές που παράγονται κατά τη διάρκεια χημικών αντιδράσεων μπορεί να κυμαίνονται από χαρακτηριστικές έως ευθανασία. Πέρασα από τον κατάλογο με τις συνήθεις μεθόδους, όπως το παλιό λάστιχο στην τουαλέτα, μια εγκατάσταση με κουρτίνα νερού, απελευθέρωση των αναθυμιάσεων από την καμινάδα για να συσκοτιστεί η προέλευση κ.λπ. και στη συνέχεια άνοιξα για την πιθανή αποτελεσματικότητα μιας νέας ιδέας που δεν έχω δει ποτέ στην πράξη. Χαμηλά και ξαφνικά ένα προϊόν ήρθε στην οθόνη μου σε μια προσθήκη του Amazon στα μέσα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης που δεν είχα δει ποτέ πριν και εδώ είναι για να το εξετάσετε. Ένας κεραμικός καταλυτικός καυστήρας. Αυτό είναι για μια σόμπα καύσης ξύλου και χρησιμοποιεί τη θερμότητα που παράγεται από αυτήν για να θερμάνει τον καταλύτη, αλλά νομίζω ότι ένα στοιχείο καυστήρα σόμπας 6" που δένεται στο μπροστινό μέρος θα λειτουργούσε πολύ καλά. Με αυτό στο σωλήνα εξόδου σας (και το στοιχείο του καυστήρα)πιστεύω ότι θα έψηνε σχεδόν οποιαδήποτε μυρωδιά, και ο καταλύτης, ο καυστήρας και ένας ρεοστάτης για τον έλεγχο της θερμοκρασίας θα πρέπει να είναι κάτω από 200 δολάρια USD ολοκαίνουργια( και ένας καυστήρας και ένα κουμπί σόμπας θα μπορούσε να είναι δωρεάν για πολλούς από εμάς). Απλά σκέφτηκα να παρουσιάσω την ιδέα και να ανοίξω έναν διάλογο για να συζητήσουμε τις δυνατότητες.

Σίγουρα φίλτρο ενεργού άνθρακα; όπως για την καλλιέργεια ζιζανίων/ αυτό είναι που έχω δει iv να λειτουργεί... μπροστά στα μάτια μου στο σπίτι f/e. Πιθανώς ahotty, αλλά hey ho, δεν μπορώ να μυρίσω τίποτα και iv δεν είχε οποιαδήποτε αναφορές από τους γείτονές μου! Όχι όταν καλλιεργούσα χόρτο ή όταν έκανα συνθέσεις lol

Είναι δροσερό όμως, αλλά επίσης σίγουρα, θα πρέπει να είναι θερμές αντιδράσεις για να ενεργοποιηθεί; Κάνω ένα φορτίο παγωμένων αντιδράσεων στο mo.... θα μπορούσε να λειτουργήσει για αυτό; Ή μήπως εννοείτε να το θερμάνετε ξεχωριστά;

Ναι, θα πρέπει να το θερμάνετε ξεχωριστά. Νομίζω ότι εννοούσα ότι ένας καυστήρας σόμπας στο πρόσωπο θα μπορούσε να λειτουργήσει.

Δεν είναι ουσιαστικά ο ίδιος τρόπος με τον οποίο λειτουργούν τα φίλτρα ενεργού άνθρακα; Υποθέτω ότι το σχήμα των οπών παγιδεύει τις μυρωδιές; Αρκετά ωραίο όπως και να 'χει.
Υποθέτω ότι με τα φίλτρα άνθρακα, αν κάποιος το δει, μπορεί πραγματικά να είναι μόνο ύποπτο, με τον ένα ή τον άλλο τρόπο (υποθέτω ότι εκτός αν ζείτε σε μια χώρα όπου επιτρέπεται να καλλιεργείτε το δικό σας χόρτο (όπου κανείς δεν θα ήξερε τι είναι το παραπάνω αντικείμενο!)

No. -ctuivated carbon filters work on the principle that carbon has a lot of surface are to trap bad smells, but it wont stop vapors from poisoning you. This is a catalytic converter like your car has, it uses high heat to break down gaseous acids bases irritants ect, and as a side note it eliminates odors by exposing them to high heat. Id be surprised if a carbon filter would sustain being gassed by hcl for very long

I live where it is legal, and people still use the carbon filters, so their house doesn't smell like weed, so WVERYONE doesn't know they are growing, that can also invite problems , and we had someone stay with us during harvest one time and she left because there was a lot of weed drying everywhere in the house

Activate charcoal (absorb pollution and fumes)

Avoid acquaintances and strangers from having any sort of information knowledge of such a clandestine lab

Do not have your laboratory supplies nor lab chemicals no drugs shipped via parcel mail to the same address that you do your lab cooking

Night time

Invest in a fume hood

Don't have a reason for law enforcement to be knocking on the door of the place where you have your laboratory

I'm sure it would work if you can get the cats up to temperature. That's the whole trick, in your car the exhaust heats it up to a pretty high temperature. I've heard of people smashing the catalyst and using it in reaction, platinum and pallidium.

Yeah ive used them as is with some vapour phase stuff works great just use a heating strip to get it up 2 temp

We are basically just leading our fumes into a DIY furnace chimney here, no? One could easily set up a succession of various traps to lead and scrub fumes through. Down the drain. Buckets of kitty litter. Other tubes of filter charcoal and what not. High temp is a less popular choice (and one of the better options if you can do it, I think) It would be best to destroy as much 'evidence' as possible on the way out before you try to clean and obscure it before it is dispersed back into the world.

couldnt you also lead the gases into the air intake of a bunsen? Should also work obviously smaller scale though

This is the right idea. IDK if a bunsen would burn hot enough? You want those ridiculously high industrial temps.

You arent gonna get much hotter with this thingy because you're going to have to heat it separately.........probably with a bunsen....

Also look up the temp of a gas flame it is definitely higher than the decomp temp of all possible products in any synthesis really.

I'd say its more about contacting the most surface area, a flame wouldn't be that efficient, but if you had some sort of hot metal screen to blow the air through, ike a catalytic converter has...Setting up to run it down your drain pipe, pushed past the water trap has been the popular way since the 80's. I've known people who go to a hotel and make meth at at the hotel, usinf this method and in thier mind it's safer because thety aren't at home, . I can see benefits of it, but Depending on your situation it may not be any safer. I've caught people cooking meth in a hotel before. People I didn't know. They were lucky it was me who caught them because I acted like I didn't see or smell anything someone else might have turned them in. Matter of fact, its a local hotel and it has been modified to have a secret room where they make meth steadily
