Sounds like just a non polar solvent cleaning, could use any nonpolar solvent and get the same result. Without a slow suspended evaporation of a semi polar solvent like acetone and water it won’t dissolve and actualy reform to crystals.non polar solvent cleaning It will clean it into a crystalline powder that’s is just as pure, but not actualy form anything to make a see through product. Just depend on what u have to do. Very good cleaning step as long as the solvent is clean aswell though either way. Just mix it well and filter and repeat a few times, bout all u can do with that concept.
